Dr. Matt Schlechten completed his education in the field of naturopathic medicine from the esteemed Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, now known as Sonoran University, in 2002. He completed the practitioner masters course from the Metabolic Terrain Institute for Health and adheres to their approach in providing healthcare services. He has over 15 years of experience in private practice in Hamilton, Montana, where he eventually focused on the specialized area of cancer treatment.
In 2017, Dr. Schlechten assumed a position at CHIPSA hospital in Tijuana, Mexico, renowned for its alternative cancer treatments. The hospital provides an array of therapies, such as coley’s toxins, low dose chemotherapy, ozone therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, Vitamin CK3, and cancer vaccines.
During the COVID-19 outbreak, he returned to the United States and is practicing as a remote consultant for patients across the country.
Dr. Schlechten's methodology involves conducting a detailed medical history, identifying the root cause of illnesses, performing diagnostic laboratory tests, developing a comprehensive treatment plan, and collaborating with local practitioners to administer intravenous therapies. He is also familiar with conventional therapy and when indicated seeks to use the most advantageous approach using a rational combination of therapies.
Dr. Schlechten's methodology involves a thorough assessment of the patient's condition to identify potential factors that may have contributed to the development of cancer. These factors may include environmental toxicity, hormone imbalances, blood sugar irregularities, or stress and emotional factors, which are then targeted for treatment with the guidance of laboratory testing.
After identifying the underlying causes, Dr. Schlechten develops a personalized treatment plan that combines safe and effective natural therapies to alleviate the burden of the tumor. Ongoing care involves following a preventive plan that aims to minimize the risk of cancer recurrence.
Dr. Schlechten's approach emphasizes a patient-centered care model that prioritizes the individual needs of each patient. By adopting this holistic approach, he aims to not only treat the symptoms but also address the root cause of the disease to ensure long-term health and wellness.
